We called and ordered the Royal cake on a Tuesday around 11:35am. They said it would be ready at 12am. That's some really fast cake making! The Royal cake in large size is $69 and writing on cake is $5. We arrived at 12:30ish and there were only 2 customers sitting at a table so I was able to get my cake right away. I was showing the cake to make sure it looked right. A line started forming after I came in. The cake was really good and felt like it was quality material. Not that sweet either. Love the crunchy praline layer at the bottom. The only thing that would prevent me from coming here is the parking situation. It's downtown Los Gatos and it's always busy. There's street parking and parking lot.

Delicious desserts, but on the pricy side Got the passionfruit cake for my husband here and we thoroughly enjoyed it. If price is not a factor, this should be your go-to place, as the quality shines through all of their products!

My husband and I were in search of a quick bite to eat and found this little bakery shoppe in downtown Los Gatos. We ordered a croissant, a peach pastry and a latte. There was limited seating indoors especially as it was a warm day and everyone wanted to stay indoors where it was nice and cool but they did have outdoor seating, although it was not very well maintained while we were there. We were able to move indoors as I kept my eyes on the inside (I couldn't handle too much heat, I was 8 months pregnant at the time!) The pastries themselves were delicious and had a nice texture to the croissant. The peach flavor really came out which paired nicely with the latte I ordered. I do wish they had more options for decaf available, but I can have caffeine now so it doesn't affect me too much. Besides an array of pastries they have amazing tantalizing cakes on display...I will definitely keep them in mind if I want a specialty cake in the future!

This is a crazy story but 10 years ago I went to the Chef's bakery back when he was located in Palm Springs. Had the best croissants of my life. I recently went back to the Palm Spring's bakery. Unfortunately it is no longer run by him but his brother says the Chef recently opened Fleur De Cocoa in Los Gatos. A month later I'm in Los Gatos and ordering just about every dessert and pastry. They are so good! ROYAL: my favorite. There's a velvety smooth mousse layer and another layer of crunch. I don't know how he made the crunchy layer but it's all addicting! I came back the following day just to get this dessert again. CANELE: best candle of my life. I took a bite of the crunch exterior and soft gooey center. I went back to the bakery to order 3 more! CROISSANT: it's good, but not like how I remembered it in my mind from 10 years ago. FIFTH AVENUE: this one is for pistachio lovers!! I would order it again. Pistachio flavor everywhere in this lovely dessert. APRICOT PASTRY: I am for sure ordering this again when I come back. The custard layer was just the right amount and the pastry was perfect! COTE D'IVOIRE: it's very good if you like orange flavor from the Cointreau. I'm glad I tried it but the Royal is still my top pick.
